Walt Disney’s famous ethos, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” though not his original quote, resonates with many. It recently appeared in my Google feed, sparking my interest. Despite my struggles with creativity, I excel at getting things done.

A memory from 2013 resurfaced when I encountered a sign in a Manchester kitchen cupboard stating, “IDEAS ARE THEFT.” I’ve often confused creativity with generating wholly original ideas, but it’s nearly impossible. Ideas always build upon existing ones.
